2,000,000 Americans are going to lose their job!

200,000 jobs have already been moved to India where labor costs are cheaper and those American jobs will never be recovered. Our National Unemployment Rate is already above 6% and it's about to go much higher. What this means is more people on welfare and higher taxes for you. I know that many people see us as anonymous annoyances who interrupt dinner and not the real faces behind the calls, with real families who rely on these jobs to survive.

We were maintaining our own "Do Not Call List" long before the Government ever thought of it. People who work in call centers are often those considered the most difficult to employ.

• 26% are single mothers

• 30% were recently on welfare

• 64% are ethnic minorities

• 5% are physically disabled

We're a small company with less than 25 employees, but even though we're small, we've done BIG things because of God's grace and kind people like you. Not only does this new law threaten our ability to support ourselves and our families, but our shelter for battered women and abused children, our orphanage in Uganda where we serve 1,100 meals a day, are all in jeopardy.

I guess what amazes me the most is that the law-makers behind this have blatantly exempted themselves from the very law they've written. That's right, you can sign up for the list but the politicians can still call you. Seems a little wrong doesn't it?

We are being forced to pay the Government $7,300.00 annually to purchase this list. Do you have any idea how many orphans we can feed for $7,300.00? Although we see the law as a blatant violation of our Constitutional Rights, we will comply.

The Government says that 95% of the telemarketing calls you currently receive will stop. All we're asking, humbly I might add, is that you allow us to be the one company that you still allow to call.
